Andrew is a chartered physiotherapist, athletic development consultant and clinical director of Active Therapy – Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic at The Chase Golf Health Club & Spa, Penkridge, Stafford.
He has 17 years experience post graduate as a chartered physiotherapist and athletic development specialist. Andrew treats clients with common musculoskeletal disorders and athletes of all standards from recreational to international standards. At Active Therapy our aim is to provide expert assessment of your condition and establish the cause, treat your symptoms successfully, reduce risk of recurrence and enhance performance.
Andrew is an accredited Kinetic Control movement therapist and works with all clients to achieve enhanced movement efficiency using the latest functional movement assessment and re-education techniques.
He has both undergraduate (BSc Hons) and post graduate degrees (MSc) in physiotherapy and neuro-musculoskeletal healthcare respectively and is trained as an extended scope physiotherapist to provide services such as injection therapy, ultrasound imaging and imaging referrals such as x-ray and MRI scans.
Andrew has provided physiotherapy services to clients including UK Athletics, Loughborough University, The FA, The LTA, The PGA, England Golf and is former Head of Physiotherapy & Sports Medicine at Hearts FC.
Andrew has also provided expert editorial consultancy to clients such as Runners World Magazine(2002-2005) and has provided media representation in sports physiotherapy for The CSP.
Andrew is an enthusiastic clinical educator and forms part of the Rocktape UK medical team providing seminars on fascial movement taping and powertaping concepts throughout the UK & Ireland. Andrew is also a lecturer for The Running Clinic delivering the New Trends in the Prevention of Running Injuries course. He also regularly provides coach education seminars to clients such as The PGA, UK Athletics, England Athletics and England Golf and is an expert faculty member of The Golf Athlete and meandmygolf.com teams.
