Yes: BV or bacterial vaginosis can go away on its own. A lot of home remedies can help also which including eating yogurt or inserting a tapon soaked in 1:1 hydrogen peroxide and water for 20-30 minutes. If the symptoms do not improve or worsen then definitely see your primary care provider or gynecologist for full evaluation and treatment. Hope this helps!

Further Evaluation: Please visit your primary care provider or gynecologist for evaluation and testing. Without a complete history and physical, it is impossible to know exactly what is going on. A beta-HCG level should also be checked during your visit and may need to be repeated to identify whether or not you are pregnant.

Possible STD: Please visit your primary care provider as soon as possible to discuss your situation and to have a full evaluation/testing and treatment. Without an examination/testing it is impossible to say exactly what is happening.
