Bio

Dr. Faisal Ahmed is a life long Californian. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Organismic Biology Ecology and Evolution at UCLA. He then received his medical degree at University of Southern California. Dr. Ahmed completed his General Surgery/Urology training at George Washington University in Washington, DC. Dr. Ahmed's professional interests include robotic surgery, kidney stone disease, benign enlargement of the prostate, overactive bladder, and erectile dysfunction. Dr. Ahmed has extensive experience with minimally invasive treatments for the prostate including Green Light laser technology and UroLift. He offers sacral neuromodulation (Interstim, Urgent PC) for difficult to treat overactive bladder as well as penile prosthesis implantation for difficult to treat erectile dysfunction. “Urology as a field gives me the ability to offer rapid solutions to problems that have a significant effect on a patient’s quality of life. I love that I can offer both medical and surgical treatments for everything from kidney stones to bladder cancer. I am thankful to have such great training to know how to properly and safely apply all the technologic advancements available to urologists. "I don’t want to be just a physician who treats a problem and sends you on your way. My goal is to establish long-term relationships with my patients." Dr. Ahmed's social interests include basketball and football (both real life and fantasy versions) as well as mixed martial arts.
