Dr. Lowery-Allison is a licensed clinical psychologist, behavioral sleep specialist, and assistant professor of psychiatry at Augusta University. She is director of Psycho-Social Oncology Services for the Georgia Cancer Center. She served as chief fellow in Psychosocial Palliative and Community Research in Cancer at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. She also served as director of the Cancer Sleep Clinic at the University of Pittsburgh. She has extensive clinical and research experience in symptom management for cancer patients and survivors, particularly, sleep, pain, depression and anxiety, and has received numerous awards for her work. With over 10 years of experience, she has provided clinical care to patients and families at several leading cancer centers nationwide.
