I am an Assistant professor in the Department of Medicine division of Infectious Disease at the Medical College of Georgia/Augusta University. I am board certified in Internal Medicine as well as Infectious Disease.
After completing my Infectious Disease fellowship at the University of South Carolina, I practiced in Wisconsin for a number of years serving as an infectious disease consultant for three hospitals and the department of public health. I have also served as the chair of infection control committees for two hospitals as well the system adviser for infection prevention for Aurora / University of Wisconsin Medical Group AMG/AUWMG before moving to my current position.
My areas of interest include Viral hepatitis, HIV, Prosthetic joint infections and mycobacterial diseases.
