Had lateral release on my knee 8m ago. Still swollen alot, still can't do a layup bc it's not strong enough & it's still painful to run. Common? In brief: Call your Surgeon
Mild Swelling and mild pain is not uncommon after lateral release.
If you are still having this much trouble still after 8 months I would go back and see your surgeon again.RUNNING
My (L) knee is hurting on the (L) Side & locks & cracking sounds. i tried therapy and i'm allergic to Nsaids. is there anything else i can do. In brief: Cartilage tear?
You may have a tear of a meniscus (cartilage shock absorber inside the knee) in your knee.
If time, therapy and rest have not helped, I would recommend seeing an Orthopaedic Surgeon for further evalaution.KNEE PAIN NSAIDS
