Dr. Ramalingam Vaidyaselvan

With the advent of Technological advances in the art and science of General Dentistry in the early 80’s Dr. Selvan has been continuously updating himself in the healthcare field since his graduation from Dental school in 1988 (B.D.S: Bachelor of Dental Surgery). During his school years he has earned numerous awards of distinction from his faculty and peers and was on the top 3 in a class of 40. Having volunteered in community Dental camps and hospitals to provide Dental care to the less fortunate overseas and at home, he appreciates and stresses the value of ongoing dental hygiene and care on a day to day basis to all patients. He was awarded a gold medal for being university first during his B.S. degree, giving credit to his hard work, devotion and persistence which he still practices. He has numerous certificates of merits earned during school years for Oil painting, Photography, collage, soap carving and many painting competitions. He is also an excellent sculptor. In New York City, having graduated from the prestigious New York University College of Dentistry, (DDS: Doctor of Dental Surgery) in 1992, he went on to pursue the General Practice residency at Mount Sinai Hospital, where he earned honors and praise from all the staff attending and residents. After residency he had worked in a few group practices for 7 years in The City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia, where our constitution was born. He has also volunteered for 5 years with the mobile Dental camp sponsoring Special Olympia Colgate-Palmolive in and around Philadelphia for handicapped children and adults. After which, ever since 1999, he has devoted his time and energy in serving the residents and citizens of our community in and around Old Bridge, Domestic and international travelers, young and old. He has attended numerous Dental conferences and symposia, both domestic and international. We are happy to announce that Dr. Selvan has received the FAGD award. He is always updating himself with technological break through in the field of Dentistry via online Continuing education courses, conferences, live chats with colleagues, peers and other clinicians. His hobbies include painting, photography, travel, reading, research and being the best in what you can be.
