I completed a B.S. degree in Pharmacy in 1974, Ph.D. in Pharmacokinetics in 1979, M.D. from Wright State University in 1983 and two years in general surgery in Philadelphia in 1985. I then spent almost three years in the U.S.A.F. as a flight surgeon and chief of aerospace medicine. Following that, I entered and completed a 3-year residency in anesthesiology at the University of Indiana in 1992. Following that I entered into private practice of anesthesiology. I also began the process of taking educational courses for years until I was able to perform all of the current list of interventional pain procedures. Almost five years ago I moved my practice to the Tampa, Florida area. I ceased maintaining a pain management practice and focused on performing the minimally invasive spine procedures that I have been accomplishing for the last ten years. I am able to effectively treat axial spine pain whether in the neck, mid-back or low back along with headaches and extremity pain, tingling and numbness with these procedures. I do not find any significant return of the symptoms in most patients over the months and several years.
