Dr. Goldman graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Arkansas with his bachelor's degree in psychology. He went on to complete his Master's and Doctoral degrees in clinical psychology from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. His doctoral training included traineeships at OU's student counseling center as well as a rural community mental health center. After working for a year as a substance abuse counselor, Dr. Goldman completed his predoctoral internship at the University of Pittsburgh Counseling Center. He then went on to complete a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Michigan Psychological Clinic (a division of the Institute for Human Adjustment). Dr. Goldman provides individual, couples and group therapy and is particularly interested in how people relate to themselves and others; managing depression, anxiety, difficult emotions, and transitions; diversity concerns including GLBT issues; mindfulness; and existential concerns.
