About
Bio
I was on the faculty of a medical school, in practice for 27 years, and worked in research for another 13 years. I recently retired from an administrative job but continue to find professional work exciting. It is rewarding to be helpful in responding to questions. I often check my responses for accuracy using reliable, current sources and I edit my work for clarity. My special strength is in hematology, blood diseases, but I am familiar with oncology and general medicine as well. I have worked with adolescents, adults, and elderly patients in my practice.
