Specializing in sports medicine, Dr. Hunter S. Greene has been with Summit Orthorpedic Specialists since 2005. Dr. Greene is a board certified orthopedic surgeon who focuses on pediatric and adult sports medicine in his practice, including arthroscopic shoulder, elbow, hip, knee and ankle techniques. He is also the only surgeon in the area who is fellowship trained in hip arthroscopy, a minimally invasive method of diagnosing and treating a variety of hip conditions. Dr. Greene enjoys working closely with each patient to develop a treatment plan that allows the quickest and safest return to their respective activities.
Dr. Greene earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and completed a general surgery internship at the UC Davis Medical Center. He then completed an orthopedic surgery residency at the Yale New Haven Hospital and fellowship training in sports medicine and pediatric sports medicine from UC San Francisco. Dr. Greene is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and a member of the California Orthopaedic Association.
