About
Bio
My patients all me "Doctor Joe". I was born in Abington, PA in 1958, later moved to South Jersey. In 1979 I graduated from La Salle College with a Biology B.A., that included General High Honors. UMDNJ-NJ Medical School awarded me an M.D. in 1983. My training continued at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, in Philadelphia, where I became board-certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology (kidney disease).
In 1989, I joined a private nephrology practice in Phila., where I stayed for the next two years before establishing a private solo practice that crossed the river into SNJ, opening offices in Marlton, Woodbury & S. Phila., while keeping my academic appointment @Hahnemann University. My practice was sold in 2000 that led me to pursue an interest in fitness, wellness & primary care.
