About

Bio

My patients all me "Doctor Joe". I was born in Abington, PA in 1958, later moved to South Jersey. In 1979 I graduated from La Salle College with a Biology B.A., that included General High Honors. UMDNJ-NJ Medical School awarded me an M.D. in 1983. My training continued at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, in Philadelphia, where I became board-certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology (kidney disease). In 1989, I joined a private nephrology practice in Phila., where I stayed for the next two years before establishing a private solo practice that crossed the river into SNJ, opening offices in Marlton, Woodbury & S. Phila., while keeping my academic appointment @Hahnemann University. My practice was sold in 2000 that led me to pursue an interest in fitness, wellness & primary care.

Specialties
Doctors may have more than one area of specialty interest. Board certification in a specialty area means the doctor has completed formal training and has practice experience in that specialty, and has passed the certification examination from the corresponding accredited medical specialty board.

This was very helpful. Thanks! Had a 14 day loop which showed the high heart rates daily/nightly. However, it's sinus rhythm. The attacks are scary and wake me up every night.
