Dr. Deol is a gifted vein surgeon and integral contributor to the academic venous world. She is a member of the: American College of Phlebology where she serves on the International Committee, and the American Venous Forum where she serves on their Website and Social Media Committee. Dr. Deol received her bachelors degree from Albion College in 1990, and her MD from Michigan State University in 1994. She then completed: a general surgery internship at The Cleveland Clinic in 1995, a general surgery residency at William Beaumont Hospital in 2001, and a laparoscopic bariatric surgery Fellowship at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago in 2002. Her bariatric patients asked her to treat their veins, and eventually, she devoted her entire career to the treatment of venous disease.
