Dr Levinson is a private practicing psychiatrist, certified in Neurology and Psychiatry, who is founder and medical director of Access Multi-Specialty Medical Clinic in Burlingame, California. He is also Chairman of the Department of Psychiatry at Mills-Peninsula Medical Center in San Mateo, California; attending and supervising Adult Mental Health, Adolescent Mental Health and Chemical Dependency Units, Psychiatric Emergency Services, as well as Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization Program. Dr Levinson also supervises rotation of psychiatry residents and nurse practitioner interns. Specific areas of interests are interventional psychiatry: ECT and TMS treatments. He is doing ongoing research in the role of trauma and nostalgia in treatment of patients of Eastern European descent. He has authored and coauthored 6 chapters in books and 3 articles.
