i practised ophthalmology for 10 yrs in the Philippines and 27 years in Florida. my passion is eye mission work. I have organized and completed 50 eye missions in the third world from 1979 to the end of 2008: Philippines, south america: bolivia, peru, el salvador; central america: guatemala; west indies: st kitts and nevis. For about 12 yrs faculty of keratorefractive eye surgery contributing articles at the AAO. My patients were treated compassionately as family, listening to their problems aside from their vision difficulties.
