Dr. Shlewiet is double boarded by the American Board of Psychiatry
and Neurology.
• He is Board-Certified in general Adult Psychiatry.
• He is also Board-Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Dr. Shlewiet received his General Psychiatry Training at the Albert Einstein Medical Center; with it's prestigious and at the time unique Psychoanalytic Center. Dr. Shlewiet was trained to look deep into the mind as well as the brain.
His Child and Adolescent training was completed at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
Dr. Shlewiet also served as a medical director of two large organizations serving the mental health needs of Children & Adolescents
