What is the mSv dose for a dental panoramic X-ray? In brief: Millisievert dosage
A panoramic dental xray typically contains 2-3 mrem, or 0.02 - 0.03 millisieverts if it is a digital xray.
An older, film panorex would be several times that dose, but either way, radiation exposure is about equivalent to a 3 hour plane flightDENTAL XRAYS PANOREX
Do dental panoramic X-rays give a lot of radiation? I had 3 done for TMJ issues with my jaw in different positions. Thx In brief: Not necessarilySee 2 more answers
Depending on whether the panoramic xray was digital or not (digital has less radiation), your exposure with a panoramic xray is much less than almost every other medical xray you could have taken, primarily because of how the xray beam is projected - it is a very skinny beam (collimated), producing about 1/3 of the exposure of a chest xray.
It is about 2X the exposure you get in a 3 hr jet tripRADIOACTIVE DENTAL XRAYS
After brushing my teeth I noticed several white spots with a red outer rim on my gums, they hurt a little. the one closer to the tooth is bigger ? In brief: Too many things.....
Depending on how long these have been present, there are too many possibilities of what this might represent - you should have this condition examined and properly diagnosed before taking any chances on what someone might suggest it is.

If Zoloft (sertraline) wasn't effective enough for my OCD on 200mg , nor luvox 200 mg ; what can I try? Would another ssri work ? In brief: Ask your care giverSee 1 more answer
Assuming you have an ongoing relationship with one or more therapists (you should), they are the best people to make recommendations about other medication, since your individual characteristics can sometimes make one or more medicines either appropriate or completely wrong for you.
If you aren't getting good guidance from them, find someone who can help better with your meds. It can help a lot.FLUVOXAMINE LUVOX OCPD (OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE PERSONALITY DISORDER) SERTRALINE SSRI ZOLOFT
Can receding gums be treated and reversed? In brief: May be criticalRECEDING GUMS PERIODONTITISSee 2 more answers
Gum recession is different in everyone - some patients have receded gums because of underlying periodontal (gum) disease, others because they have been treated and the gum profiles remain receded even though disease has been controlled.

Can partial numbness in the tongue be repaired? In brief: Is cause known?
The answer to you question depends on why your tongue is numb - was it injured or did it occur spontaneously? If you did not have an injury or surgery which could potentially explain the tongue numbness, then it's more troublesome than a known cause.
Either way, you need guidance from an oral surgeon to determine the cause (if no known injury), and possibly determine prognosis (future).NUMBNESS OR TINGLING
How do I get rid of canker soars ? In brief: Treating canker soreSee 1 more answer
Canker sores are unpredictable, because they are not caused by an infection initially - they are similar to other autoimmune conditions, which are caused by your immune system. They have to run their course, but using Peridex (chlorhexidine gluconate) (a prescription dental rinse) can expedite the healing.
Just make sure you aren't talking about a cold sore, which is actually herpes, a very contagious condition.CANKER SORES CHLORHEXIDINE GLUCONATE AUTOIMMUNE CONDITIONS
