About

Bio

Dr. Michele Summers Colon specializes in Holistic Podiatric Medicine, and looks at the whole patient when treating your foot and ankle problems. Dr. Colon combines the best of Eastern and Western Medicine to give you the best treatment possible. Our goal is to help you ease into wellness with ease and grace. While addressing the mechanisms behind your foot or ankle problem, we can assist your body in becoming more balanced and healthy. Our protocols maximize your body's natural healing ability by supporting the physiologic pathways needed for healing. Our natural medicines enable your body to successfully heal itself, thereby eliminating the negative side effects and the increased "toxic load" of traditional drug therapy.

Yes: Yes, but make sure you are wearing shoes that are either open toe or loose fitting in the toe area. Tight shoes will hurt your toe by the end of the day.
A 26-year-old female asked:
Dr. Michele Colon
Podiatry 26 years experience
Nail fungus: Have it checked out by a podiatrist. It may be a fungal nail infection. If so, there are treatment options available.
A 21-year-old female asked:

Not a pimple: Your podiatrist or dermatologist will need to see it. It is most likely not a pimple, but either a fungus infection or a type of dermatitis. If the doctor cannot identify it, they can perform a simple procedure in the office to determine what it is.
