Here are kind words from others
Dr. Cook is a fantastic physician. After a less than mediocre experience with my first baby, I was determined to find a better provider who respected my desire to birth the way I wanted to. The minute I first met Dr. Cook I knew he was my doctor. I saw him for every appointment but one. Even when I had problems arise, he ALWAYS got me in to see him that day and always reassured me that everything was okay.
He even called me to be sure that everything was going okay when I had a problem during my pregnancy. Anytime I had a question, it was always answered and I was never rushed. He also made it a point to be there during my delivery, and I can not be more grateful for that. It was an intense drug free delivery, and he was so gentle and supportive the whole time he was there. He brought a very positive feel to the atmosphere and it really helped make it a more relaxing environment for me.
I appreciated that he came to check in on us shortly after delivery, and before we were discharged. Even in the weeks af
Originally, I went with a different dr from a different hospital. While that other doctor was knowledgeable, she was more of a dr. House sort of doctor. I thought I would like it...then I was told that miscarried. That day I realized that a knowledgeable but cold-hearted abrupt always in a hurry doctor doesn't work for me on a day when things go horribly wrong. Devasted, my husband and I decided to find somebody else who can perform my D&C...We also started looking into other hospitals. That's how we met dr. Cook. He was highly recommended not only by former patients of his but also hospital's staff. I could have not asked for more patient and compassionate doctor. He answered all of my 1000000000 questions and did everything he could to make sure I will be healed physically and emotionally. It's very hard to find somebody who can be your doctor but also your caring friend. He was both to me. He even held my hand as I was being put under. I am very thankful for everything he did for me. He is a young professio
During my first pregnancy, my first doctor was bit of an aloof creature whose staff was spouting textual answers that never did answer the questions I had to begin with. In my fifth month, I decided to switch. Doctor Cook's office took me in and helped with the transfer of all my files (as both doctors were in the same hospital). Dr. Cook, his staff and nurse were amazing to my husband and I - it felt like I was visiting a friend every time - is it weird to say we looked forward to every appointment?
During your pregnancy, especially your first, you need to be informed and decide what it is that is best for you. Dr. Cook and his staff are insistent upon certain things but will take what you want into account.
As long as Dr. Cook is in Washington, I will always continue to be his patient. I am glad I took the initiative and switched to his office. He must have grown up with five sisters - he has such an amazing demeanor and knows how to comfort a pregnant lady :)
What can I say but that he is the best ob/gyn I have ever been to and I have been to 6 different OB/gyn before him. He takes time to listen. He sincerely cares about your health. He wants to make sure you receive the best treatment possible. He believes in you as a patient. I saw him for my pregnancy. A previous pregnancy ended up being a c-section and I really wanted to do a VBAC. He fully supported that and was confident that it would be successful. It was. I have finally found an Ob/gyn I will stick with permanently. I believe he will one day be nominated as a top doctor in the Seattle area.
This Thanksgiving, I wanted to share my appreciation for all that you do! Thank you, doctor! :)
