About

Bio

Dr. Butler grew up in Lubbock, Texas. She received her undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University in 2002. She earned a Doctorate of Medicine degree from Texas University Health Sciences Center in 2007. She then completed her pediatric residency at the same institution in association with University Medical Center and Covenant Children’s Hospital in 2010. Dr. Butler is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. After exploring different avenues of pediatric practice in an out-patient clinic and urgent care centers, Dr. Butler found the perfect place to “foster” her own family in North Texas and established Lantana Pediatrics in January of 2012. Her professional interests involve caring for children of all ages and providing her families with the knowledge to be the best advocate for their children. Dr. Butler lives in Lantana and enjoys playing golf, running with her dog, yoga, and spending time with her family.

Specialties
Doctors may have more than one area of specialty interest. Board certification in a specialty area means the doctor has completed formal training and has practice experience in that specialty, and has passed the certification examination from the corresponding accredited medical specialty board.
