Dr. Frederick Mansfield is a partner in a private practice anesthesiology group and is part of the Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology team. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Microbiology and a received Medical Doctorate, both from the University of Florida. After his Anesthesiology residency, also at the University of Florida, he continued onto a Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellowship at Mayo Clinic Jacksonville, where he focused on Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia. Wanting to continue living near his family, he chose a practice in Florida as his new home, joining joining the group in 2011 partly to help build the new Pediatric Cardiac program. He also does general pediatric, adult and adult cardiac anesthesia. He is happily married to his wife, an Emergency Medicine physician. He is active outside of work, enjoying time with his wife and their daughter. He enjoys participating in several fitness activities.
