About
Bio
After growing up and studying medicine in the Midwest, Dr. Edwards moved to Portland in 1999 after being in practice in Chicago for four years. She came to OHSU to grow the Urogynecology Division, which only had one provider at the time. When she is not at work, Dr. Edwards enjoys seeing her sons play hockey and lacrosse, shopping with her daughter and watching movies or singing with all her kids.
Another passion is building the OHSU Footsteps to Healing Program which is a global collaboration with Gimbie Adventist Hospital to improve the health of women in rural Ethiopia. Dr Edwards travels to Gimbie Ethiopia each year to lead a 2 week surgical trip to perform pelvic organ prolapse repairs for local women
