Here are kind words from others
In the past two years, I’ve seen Jayashree for two separate problems with pain that occurred at different times: neck and shoulder pain, and lower back and leg pain. When I met with her about the neck and shoulder pain, my need for relief was immediate. She was very articulate about my options while also showing concern about my level of pain. Without hesitation, I chose surgery over other options because I quickly felt confident in her abilities and knew she could help—and she did.
Later that year, I developed pain in my hip and one of my legs. Though uncomfortable, the pain was less intense than the pain I had experienced in my neck and shoulder. While surgery might eventually be necessary, we pursued other less invasive options first, including physical therapy. Over time, however, I began to feel that physical therapy wasn’t going to resolve the problem without the help of surgery to relieve pressure on the impacted nerves causing the pain. So, I met with Jayashree, who recommended surgery as the
I underwent a consult with Dr. Srinivasan after more than six years of extreme back (L5-S1) discomfort, with accompanying radiculopathy. Specifically, the three months directly preceding my first appointment were particularly bad, requiring frequent hospitalizations. During our first meeting, Dr. Srinivasan asked numerous questions, patiently listened, and conducted a thorough neurologic exam. I never felt rushed, ignored, or misunderstood. After an extensive conversation, she accessed my MRI file, and began a thorough explanation of the anatomical basis behind the pain/lack of function I was experiencing. On numerous occasions, she inquired as to whether or not I had any questions. Next, Dr. Srinivasan explained that an L5-S1 Anterior Interbody Lumbar Fusion was the best approach to correct the structural issues present in my lower spine, and thereby address the chronic pain/functional deficits I was suffering from. She made clear that this surgery was normally not performed on someone my age (29),
Dr. Srinivasan was exceptional from the start. After reviewing my MRI, she explained to me what she felt needed to be done and why. Though communicating some not so good news, she did so in a way that not only gave me the facts, but also indicated an empathetic understanding of what I was facing. The most important aspect was that I immediately trusted her with my care and well being. From the initial visit to communication with her staff and scheduling my surgery date, I experienced the utmost level of responsiveness, courtesy, and professionalism. I have to say that though surgery wasn't something I looked forward to, the outcome has been positively life changing. I would have absolutely no hesitation whatsover in recommending Dr. Srinivasan based on her knowledge, vast experience, skill level, and continuing dedication to her patients.
Dr. Srinivasan performed my Cervical Fusion surgery in June. My experience with her and her office staff was outstanding.
Dr. Srivivasan saw me within days of placing a call to her office. When onsite, she did a full exam and review my MRI imaging results as we sat in her office. She explained what was causing my condition and set out a plan for treatment and surgery.
She answered all our question thoroughly and never rush us on questions or concerns. She has a dedicated scheduler for surgery who went over all the many details and was very personal and thorough.
My overall experience was terrific and I would highly recommend Dr. Srinivasan to anyone asking.
Dr Srinivasan saved my back. She could tell right away I needed surgery and quickly, got me in in six days, cured me. No question about it. I basically had a microdiscectomy. I particularly like that she wants to do the least invasive surgery necessary to solve a problem. She was the second surgeon I saw and the difference in approach and responsiveness was refreshing. She also responds to questions quickly herself, also much appreciated. I recommend looking at her website - very informative and indicative of her practice.
My mom has had excruciating back and leg pain for the past 8 years. She previously had a fusion in 2001. We cannot say enough about the personal care, clear expectations, and excellent outcome that Dr. Srinivasan provided. 4 months after surgery my mom is feeling great and almost back to 100%!
