Dr. Aaron G. Margulies is a Fellowship trained, board certified Breast Surgical Oncologist. While training at Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute, Dr. Margulies did research in many areas of breast cancer and was honored as one of only five distinguished AstraZeneca Scholars at the 28th Annual San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium in December 2005 for his research on the spread of breast cancer to the bones. Dr. Margulies has been published in multiple medical journals. Dr. Margulies has performed hundreds of surgeries and is in the Top 10% of breast surgeons in the US (by number of surgeries). Dr Margulies is a leader of the medical community and currently serves as the Cancer Liason Physician between the Commission on Cancer and Physicians Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.
