Dr. Stephen Tilles
I spend 2/3 of my time seeing patients in clinic as a parter in the Northwest Asthma and Allergy Center, where I am fortunate to work with patients of all ages. Food allergies in toddlers, exercise-induced shortness of breath in adolescents, chronic asthma in older adults are all examples of challenges I enjoy in clinic.
I also am committed to a part-time clinical research career as Executive Director of ASTHMA Inc. Clinical Research Center, a non-profit sister company to the Nothwest Asthma and Allergy Center in Seattle. I am also on the Executive Committee of the Seattle Food Allergy Consortium, and organization committed to combining resources within the Seattle area to help improve the lives of patients with food allergy, including overseeing food allergy clinical research protocols.
I also am actively involved in specialty-specific committee and editorial work, including as a member of the Joint Task Force for Practice Parameters, and as Associate Editor of both the Annals of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and of a quarterly publication called "AllergyWatch".
