I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, graduated from Dartmouth College with a degree in history and completed medical school at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland. I completed my internal medicine residency at University of Wisconsin-Madison as well as a fellowship in Women's Health. I joined the faculty at UW-Madison for a few years before moving back to Portland and joining the faculty at OHSU. I worked at the Center for Women's Health at OHSU for 9 years and then jointed Greenfield Health Clinic in Portland, OR. I am married with 2 young children and enjoy running and reading in my spare time.
