After earning my medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC, I spent two years as an emergency room physician and flight surgeon at Landstuhl Army Regional Medical Center in Landstuhl, Germany. During this time, I was deployed to the Persian Gulf where I served as a General Medical Officer with the Third Armored Division in Operation Desert Storm. Currently, I serves in the US Army Reserves.
Following my service in Germany, I completed my orthopedic surgery residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in Fort Lewis, Washington. I served as a staff orthopedic surgeon at Darnall Army Community Hospital in Fort Hood, Texas, before joining Evergreen Orthopedic Center.
