I started my training early! Near the end of my medical school training, I spent just over 2 months in Bangladesh at a mission hospital. The things I saw and did and learned while there were invaluable. I then came back to residency training at the University of IL/Cook County Hospital in Chicago, IL with so much experience. My training program was one of the most sought-after in my field of General Surgery! I saw more in one night there than many see in many months at other training programs. As a result, I graduated well-trained and prepared for practice!
I was in a group practice for 11 years near my family in IL. I then moved to Milwaukee and have been with Lakeshore Medical Clinic for 7 years (I was "swept away" to this strange and wonderful land by my now-husband!). I love Milwaukee and am so happy with my relocation. We enjoy everything from Friday night fish fries to the summer festivals and State Fair! Be sure to say "hi" if you see me!
I am married. My husband owns a travel agency. We love to travel and explore the world. I love to garden in the summertime. I recently discovered that I also love all kinds of art from drawing to water color and acrylic painting. This was a long-time desire of mine and I am JUST now getting around to taking classes (I was always a little busy with the science and math courses). I also enjoy playing the piano.
If I can assist you with any of your general surgical needs, please come see me and let's talk about it!
