Dr. Davis attended medical school and completed a residency in urology at the University of Rochester in upstate New York.. She subsequently spent a year at the Cleveland Clinic as a Special Fellow in Male Infertility before joining the faculty at the University of Cincinnati in Ohio where she rose to the rank of Associate Professor. However, the beautiful Pacific Northwest beckoned. Before settling in Portland, she completed further fellowship training in Female Pelvic Floor Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at the Medical College of Pennsylvania-Hahnemann University in Philadelphia. This prepared her well for her dual appointment at OHSU as Associate Professor of Urology and Urogynecology. She also has a full-time appointment as a staff surgeon in urology at the Portland VA.
Dr. Davis enjoys caring for both men and women and her special interests include neurologic disorders of the bladder and pelvis, voiding dysfunction, pelvic pain syndromes, sexual dysfunction, and the education of patients and medical trainees. She provides urologic care as a member of the Center for Women’s Health at OHSU. She serves as a clinical preceptor for medical students and lectures regularly for all of the training programs at the OHSU School of Medicine. Her commitment to medical education extends to providing educational presentations for various medical and lay organizations in the region. Finally, Dr. Davis continues to be involved at all levels in national and international organizations related to her fields of interest and is a peer reviewer for two medical publications.
Dr. Davis’ favorite free time activities include ikebana (Japanese flower arranging), skiing, and visiting museums.
