Jack Seidel, M.D.has been in private practice specializing in infants, children, and adolescents inNorth Dallassince 1990. Dr. Seidel is a Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics at UT SouthwesternMedicalSchoolinDallas,Texas. He has been Chief of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern University Hospitals-since the medical school acquired St. Paul Hospital. In 1997 Dr. Seidel helped found the pediatric nurse triage system for Children’s Medical Center of Dallas and was its medical director from 1997 to 2005. In 2005 Dr. Seidel transitioned the program to Medical City Children’s Hospital where he remains the Medical Director of Pediatric Telephone Triage. Dr. Seidel has given over 1300 medical education lectures, including Grand Rounds, to other physicians and health care professionals in The USA including Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico as well as in Canada.
Dr. Seidel is also the Director of Pediatric Research at Research Across America andhas conducted dozens of clinical research studies involving children. He has been conducting clinical trials in multiple therapeutic areas for infants, toddlers and teenagers since 1995. Examples of some of the pediatric therapeutic areas include, but are not limited to: Otitis Media, Vaccines, Allergic Rhinitis, Perennial Allergies, Infant Formula, Head Lice, Fever, and Pharyngitis.
