I have been in practice in dermatology since early 1970's..
My training was at temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, I spent three years at methodist hospital in Indianapolis training in Family medicine..Then went back to Philadelphia for Dermatology
While in practice I have been active in organized medicine..I have served as President of Indianapolis Medical society President of Indiana State Medical association,also served as alternate Delegate to the AMA for ten years
Currently I am chairman of the Dermatology section of St Vincent hospital Indianapolis
My practice is mostly general dermatology of all ages

Topical medication: Topical meds are usually effective and oral are stressful to the yong liver and are not recommended.

Unlikely: Polish remover is acetone based and dries the skin and should not cause numbness only dryness.
