About
Bio
I grew up in Broomall, PA....just a short drive from where I practice now. I have two children, Ava born 2002...Sean born 2006. I married my lovely wife, Donna in 2000. My family is my inspiration. I love what I do, because I get to see other families grow up with the practice.
I play electric, bass guitar and take lessons locally at 'The Troubadour' music shop. I am in a band in which members are my buddies from grade school, middle school and high school.
I love working in Wayne because I get to see many of my friends that I grew up with. They come to see me for dental work with their families.

It : It is quite common for children, especially young ones, to grind their teeth at night. It is 'kiddy' stress relief. There really is nothing you can do about it. You should not worry about it if the child otherwise sleeps well. It does not come from germs in the stomach. Sometimes the child will grow out of the habit, but if the habit continues to adulthood a nightguard can be made. There really is no nightguards for children. An orthodontist can make an appliance, but that is in extreme cases.

You : You probably have seen this answer already, but it most likely is because the bite is 'high' on the crown. A simple bite adjustment by your dentist will take care of it. If it is still painfull about a day or so after the bite adjustment, more may be going on.

Although : Although teeth can become sensitive to temperature changes, and this can be normal, an ache in the teeth should be addressed by a dentist. As i say, it may be nothing, but it may be cavities that are growing in some parts of the teeth, and do need treatment.
