Bio
Dr Vikram Likhari became a dentist in 1997 and practiced as a General Dentist for several years before joining Tufts University in Boston for his post-doctoral training in Periodontology and Implantology. He was selected to be the Chief Resident of the program in his final year at Tufts and also held a position as a Visiting Scientist at the acclaimed Forsyth Institute. It was at Forsyth that Dr Likhari conducted research on Salivary Cytokines that lead to him being awarded the Master of Science degree. After graduation Dr Likhari moved to Bellevue to pursue a career in Clinical Periodontics and Surgical Implantology. He is an Affiliate Clinical Faculty in the University of Washington Dental School and is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He has published scientific articles in various professional journals and is specially interested in Periodontal Plastic Surgery and Esthetic Implant Surgery. When not working Dr Likhari likes to read works of non-fiction and collect fountain pens.
