Dr. David Kells was born in Oklahoma but moved frequently as his father was in the Air Force. He began elementary school in England (thus "British trained"). From fifth grade through medical school, he lived in Colorado, except for a two year hiatus as a missionary in Germany. His majors at theUniversity of Colorado (Boulder) were chemistry and international affairs. After graduating from CU in 3 years, he received his MD from the University of Colorado (Denver). Dr. Kells' internship and residency were at Maricopa Medical Center. He then worked with a large multi-specialty group in Arizona for 14 years prior to establishing Boojum in 1998. Dr. Kells is board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology. He has been practicing for 27 years. His interests include sports, exercise and weight training, cooking, and collecting art. He has five children aged 21 to 32 and three grandchildren.
Dr. Kells was featured in Phoenix Magazine as one of the best doctors in the valley for 2009 & 2011!
