Dr. Sergio Rubinstein received his dental degree in 1980 from the Universidad Tecnologica de Mexico. From 1980-82 completed his specialty training in Periodontal-Prosthesis at the University of Illinois at Chicago with an emphasis on the management of the most complex esthetic, functional and periodontal problems including adult orthodontics and the design and completion of the laboratory work.
He continued teaching at the University as Assistant Professor until 1992 and is an American Board Eligible in the dental specialty of Prosthodontics. Started his private practice in 1986 and is a founder and partner at Oral Rehabilitation Center since 1989.
His knowledge, comprehensive diagnosis and ability to implement treatment strategies and techniques from the most simple to the most challenging esthetic and functional dental problems have been widely recognized through his national and international lectures and publications.
Has lectured to National and International Study Clubs, major Associations such the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Prosthodontic Society, Academy of Prosthodontics, American Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, Southwest Dental Conference, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Chicago Dental Society, Astra World Congress in Washington, D.C and Gothenburg, Sweden. Lecturer at DentalXP, an internet lecture site. Given hands-on courses in Adhesive Dentistry and Implant Prosthodontics. Has published several articles in Adhesive Dentistry and Implant-Prosthodontics. Author of chapters for books in Implant Prosthodontics and the Art of Treatment Planning. Inventor of a custom abutment to prosthetically correct misaligned implants. Member of the Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, American College of Prosthodontist, Academy of Osseointegration, Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity, member and past President of the Chicago Academy of Dental Research.
