Dry and wrinkled penis gland whenever I shower. No itching or burning but the skin is dry and not smooth. Vaseline helps somewhat but barely. Pls help? In brief: Could be psoriasis
You should have it looked at, but psoriasis can commonly affect the penis, especially the glans (head), and can cause an often red, scaly, circular area.
What exactly is a boil? In brief: InfectionSee 1 more answer
Usually the term "boil" refers to a skin infection, such as an abscess, where pus and fluid forms in the skin causing a red, raised, sore, often with a whitehead within it and which sometimes drains.
Boils may also refer to deeper acne cysts or inflamed epidermal cysts, which often are not truly infected (no bacteria present).SKIN ABSCESS CHILDREN'S HEALTH SON TACTILE

Are skin problems easy to diagnose, or is there a lot of room for error? In brief: Derms know!
If you are seeing a dermatologist, the vast majority of skin problems are relatively easy for us to diagnose, as we see them all the time! there are of course always tricky problems, because rashes and skin lesions can vary depending on how long they are present, if infected, the skin type, prior treatment, etc.
Sometimes even a biopsy won't give us the exact answer, but that's usually rare.SKIN PROBLEMS SKIN CONDITIONS
