At the Hutchman Clinic, our mission is to advance the medical care & research of Neurodegenerative Disorders through an intra-disciplinary model of care. This model will integrate specialty medical care & clinical trial research opportunities with community education and outreach activities. Further, wherever possible, we will facilitate the availability of these services to all patients by assisting them in overcoming obstacles to care; such as transportation, financial hardships, language/cultural barriers, or lack of awareness of available resources to assist them. Our initial focus is Parkinson's disease, eventually expanding to other neurodegenerative disorders. In our intra-disciplinary model of clinical care, the patient is at the center of the care team, selecting from the various options available to develop their own comprehensive care plan. A team of allied health professionals participate in ongoing care & assessments using a holistic approach, making recommendations touching on many facets of the patients care. With our outreach, support, and programming resources & activities, our goal is to improve the quality of life for those so challenged by these disorders. Our staff & volunteers will be ever mindful to exhibit kindness, helpfulness, charity, and respect toward those we serve.
