NO: It's a nutriceutical prepared by enzymatic digestion of pig brains. There is no (zero, none, nada) evidence of efficacy for anything other than the manufacturer's bank account. There isn't a pig equivalent of mad cow disease that i know, but i would worry about getting prion disease from eating brains.

Insomnia: It is very, very, very rare & is characterized by progressive insomnia associated w/ extreme changes in personality & behavior eventually resulting in dementia & death, usually over the course of a year or two. It's related to mad cow disease & creutzfeldt jakob disease & is caused by accumulation of misfolded prion proteins in the brain. You don't have it.

Yes, even doctors: Get anxious & take xanax (alprazolam). No, xanax (alprazolam) will not make you dumb(er). Xanax (alprazolam) is not a good chronic medicine. It's half life is short & if you take it daily, you will likely develop rebound anxiety & suffer bad withdrawal symptoms if you miss a dose or stop. The ssris are much better anxiety meds & if you have to be on a benzodiazepine, a long acting one, like Clonazepam is much safer.
