Dr. Robert Buchanan

Dr. Buchanan was born in Atlanta and attended Emory University undergraduate. He stated medical school at medical College of Georgia. He then completed an internship at Parkland Hospital in Dallas Texas. The next 2 years were spent in the Navy in, first, did not caring for the Marines and, then, Jacksonville Naval Hospital. He then completed a Gen. surgery rest see at the university North Carolina and a plastic surgery residency, including hand surgery, at Washington University in St. Louis. He then distinguished himself on the fact of the University of Oklahoma section of plastic surgery, rising to full professor. There he oversaw the plastic surgery clinics at the adult and Vereran's Administration Hospitals while running a full private practice. His main interests were hand surgery, reconstructive surgery including microsurgery, and cosmetic surgery. After 14 years, he went into a pure private practice but continued his association with University of Oklahoma as a clinical professor overseeing resonance who rotated with him. The opportunity arose, he moved to Highlands North Carolina where he has advanced his cosmetic interests, especially facial rejuvenation.
