Bio
Dr. Nein is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery
and has been certified by the American Board of Surgery [general surgery]. His extensive experience in cosmetic surgery can provide you with the confidence that the investment you make in your appearance will be carried out with skill and caring judgment. Dr. Nein's experience with facial and breast reconstruction gives him a complete view of the elements needed to provide optimal cosmetic results.
Dr. Nein trained in plastic surgery at Vanderbilt University and in general surgery at Louisiana State University. Both of these highly respected programs are based at Level I trauma centers. The experience of managing the most badly injured and severely ill patients at both of these institutions has given Dr. Nein the skills and judgment necessary to handle the medical issues of the cosmetic patient. Rest assured that your well being, safety and cosmetic result are foremost in his mind.
Special clinical interests of Dr. Nein include cosmetic surgery, breast surgery, and body contouring. He has co-authored several articles, appearing in the Journal of Trauma, Cardiovascular Surgery and The Louisiana State Medical Society Journal.
A member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, the International Confederation for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, Dr. Nein is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has also been an active participant in Operation Smile - the organization that provides medical service throughout the world to children and people otherwise unable to receive care for major medical problems such as cleft lips and cleft palates and other congenital defects.
