Bio
Dr. Rashba specializes in clinical cardiac electrophysiology including the diagnosis and management of arrhythmias, pacemaker and ICD implantation, cardiac resynchronization therapy, extraction of chronically implanted pacemaker and defibrillator leads, and radiofrequency ablation for treatment of arrhythmia. He performs ablation to treat complex arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia, premature ventricular contractions, and supraventricular tachycardia (SVT). His research focuses on the prediction and prevention of sudden cardiac death, treatment of atrial fibrillation, development of new anti-arrhythmic drugs, and predictors of outcome after ICD placement.
