I am a Board Certified Dermatologist, who has had an additional three years of fellowship training (following my dermatology residency) in cosmetic and laser surgery.
I am an Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, the Director of Dermatologic and Cosmetic Surgery at St. Luke’s Hospital, Columbia University, and a Fellow of American College of MOHS Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology.
I completed my dermatology residency at Columbia University, where I now teach in the surgery clinic. Following my residency I finished a one year MOHS laser and dermatologic surgery fellowship with the renowned Dr. Leonard Dzubow at the University of Pennsylvania.
I then undertook a second fellowship, two years long, in Cosmetic surgery with Dr. Emil Bisaccia, a Fellow of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and a pioneer in dermatological and cosmetic surgery. With Dr. Bisaccia, I further honed his skills in the aesthetic arena of cosmetic surgery by performing hundreds of Face Lifts, Blepharoplasties, Liposuctions, Laser Resurfacing as well as Fat grafting, Botox injections, Filler agents (including permanent, semi-permanent, and absorbable fillers), and a multitude of laser and other minimally invasive and noninvasive rejuvenating procedures.
I have recently been chosen as the best injector by Allergan and have been nominated to become a teacher to other physicians on the proper Botox injection techniques.
I have received the highest award for volunteer work bestowed by the American Academy of Dermatology.
I have also been selected by Top Doc to receive the 2011 Top Doctor and Dentist Award.
My spend the majority of my time in my own practice located in the Midwood area of Brooklyn, NY. I specialize in Mohs micrographic skin cancer removal as well as aesthetic procedures.
