After Harvard Medical school, I trained in general surgery and plastic surgery, becoming Chief Resident at Stanford. I stayed as a burn unit attending as well as in the department of anatomy.I have two fellowships a year each - pediatric, craniofacial, and aesthetic surgery; microsurgery and hand.. I have won awards and am published in these fields as well as teaching and being active in the hospital. I stay very current and commit to continuing contributions to the field of Plastic and Reconstructive surgery. My goal remains to listen to the needs of the patient, to carefully study the patient's individual anatomy, and define the best treatment possible. I enjoy detailed drawings in graphite or pen and ink to plan my surgeries (although I use colored media for my hobby) and music.
