Bettina Herbert, MD, FAAPMR, led the Integrative Pain Management Program at the Jefferson University Hospital Myrna Brind Center of Integrative Medicine in Philadelphia. She is a Bravewell fellow and 2008 graduate of the University of Arizona Center of Integrative Medicine founded by Dr. Andrew Weil. She currently serves as faculty at Jefferson as well as at the University of Arizona Center of Integrative Medicine. In addition to treating people with both chronic and acute pain, she treats chronic illness by looking for and addressing underlying causes such as disturbances in digestion, nutrient absorption, food sensitivities, stress, toxin/mold exposures and changes in body biomechanics.. Helping people achieve their best possible health is the primary goal.
