Specialties
Doctors may have more than one area of specialty interest. Board certification in a specialty area means the doctor has completed formal training and has practice experience in that specialty, and has passed the certification examination from the corresponding accredited medical specialty board.

Bhcg doubles in 48 h: At the point you are at, the HCG should double every 48 hrs. Yours is doing that. Would follow until HCG is 1500 and then do a sonogram. You should see a gestational sac in the uterus by then; if not, suspect an ectopic. Good luck!

Hormones: Your estrogen level is probably low, and needs to be adjusted. You also may need some testosterone, as well. A blood test can measure each of those hormone levels. Bioidentical hormones would be a great option, since the Premarin (conjugated estrogens) is not working well.

Hormones may be off.: It sounds like you are not getting enough estrogen ; a simple blood test can be done to see what your level is, and the dose can be adjusted. Sex drive is also related to testosterone levels, as well as estrogen. You may need to have that level checked, too.
