Dr. Peter Sakovich is a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Sakovich received his bachelor's degree from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. He then attended Texas Tech Medical School in Lubbock, Texas. Graduating in 1982, Dr. Sakovich began a family practice residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Forth Worth. He then completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology. From 1987-1994 he was in practice at Northeast Medical Clinic Association in the mid-cities. In 1994, he moved to Irving and founded MacArthur OB/GYN. After delivering over 5,000 babies Dr. Sakovich states that each delivery is still special and miraculous. Dr. Sakovich sums up his practice saying, "I am proud to have served the women of Irving and the Mid-cities for almost 20 years. I take pride in my commitment to provide quality care in obstetrics, gynecology and surgical problems. Dr. Sakovich is a frequent speaker on natural hormone therapy. Also, he is the former Medical Staff President of Baylor Medical Center of Irving. Dr. Sakovich was featured on NBC 5 after the birth of identical triplets to a Flower Mound couple. Odds of identical triplets are about 1 in 200 million.
