About
Bio
I am a craniofacial/pediatric-fellowship trained plastic surgeon based in Houston, TX. The focus of my practice is three-fold: then surgical treatment of chronic headaches (i.e.: migraine and other headache types), facial reconstruction, and cosmetic surgery. My practice has an international reach - patients from across the United States and around the world have found my practice for both headache surgery and cosmetic surgery.
My main goal regarding headache surgery is education. Patients and their doctors need to be aware that there is a successful, low-risk surgical treatment option for patients with chronic headaches. Whether you come to see me for surgery or see another (experienced, well-trained, board-certified) surgeon, my main goal is to increase the awareness of this life-changing set of procedures.
Pediatric plastic surgery is another area of specialty. In addition to working on an accredited cleft/craniofacial team, each year I travel to different locations around the world fixing cleft lips and palates for children who would otherwise be without surgical care.
SpecialtiesDoctors may have more than one area of specialty interest. Board certification in a specialty area means the doctor has completed formal training and has practice experience in that specialty, and has passed the certification examination from the corresponding accredited medical specialty board.
