Dr. Scott Russinoff is a fellowship trained, board certified, Attending Orthopaedic Surgeon at Hudson Valley Hospital Center, specializing in Hip Replacement, Knee Replacement, Hip Resurfacing, and Partial Knee Replacement Surgery. He is also the Director of the Joint Replacement Center at Hudson Valley Hospital. Dr. Russinoff has Hudson Valley offices in Westchester County and Dutchess County. Dr. Russinoff utilizes the latest technology available for hip replacement and knee replacement surgery including computer navigation and minimally invasive techniques. Dr. Russinoff also specializes in hip resurfacing, revision hip replacement and revision knee replacement surgery. Dr. Russinoff received his medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical School in Brooklyn. He did his Orthopaedic residency at New York Medical College. He did his Joint Replacement Fellowship at the Florida Orthopaedic Institute where he sub-specialized in hip replacement and knee replacement surgery. Dr. Russinoff is an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at New York Medical College where he teaches the next generation of Orthopaedic Sugeons. He also has operating privileges at Westchester Medical Center. He is the author of several research papers and has lectured and presented his research at international conferences. Dr. Russinoff has performed over one thousand hip and knee replacements!

Yes: If your knee is swollen, gravity will bring some of the fluid down to the foot causing your symptoms. Fluid can also make the knee pop.
