Broke 2nd toe 2 places: distal + middle phalange. Podiatrist said no cardio X 5 wks. No cardio not an option--which cardio is safest?

Given your injury, exercises with zero impact on your toe should be considered including swimming, aqua jogging, hand cycling etc, however you should discuss any exercise program with your physician for approval and the need for protective equipment around your foot/toes.
