Dr Jacobowitz specializes in SLEEP medicine surgery of adults and children. He performs the Pillar procedure for snoring. For obstructive sleep apnea, he offers CPAP, oral appliances or advanced surgical techniques including lateral pharyngoplasty, palatal advancement and coblation tongue surgery. Drug-induced sleep endoscopy (DISE), or simulated sleep examination is used to help select specific surgical procedures. He is nationally-recognized speaker and instructor on sleep apnea. Dr Jacobowitz specializes in HEAD and NECK cancer surgery, including thyroid and parathyroid surgery and is a member of the American Thyroid Association. Dr Jacobowitz is an ALLERGIST and also performs advanced SINUS SURGERY. Image-guided navigation or baloon sinuplasty may be used. Patients are treated compassionately and comprehensively in an elegant, modern setting.
