No dairy is OK: You don't have to drink milk or eat dairy to be healthy. Lots of vegetables, fruits, whole grains, beans, nuts, and seeds are adequate. Water is the perfect drink, 4-6 glasses a day. Keep with your multi-vitamin. If you want to try greek yogurt that might be a dairy option for you, but not necessary. Better yet, look for good vegan recipes and resources.

She is OK.: Not drinking milk is not unhealthy, in fact, it is healthier for her not to drink milk. Healthy table foods--lots of vegetables and fruits, whole grains, and beans--with water, is very healthy and promotes long term health and body weight. Don't let her have too many juices as those are mainly expensive empty calories.

Yes.: Hypothyroidism can lead to heart failure which is very dangerous. Thyroid disease needs to be treated with thyroid hormones for hypothyroidism.
